Suffering with heart and hypertension problems can be a stressful and sometimes lonely experience.

However, there are many organisations that have been set up in order to help people through this difficult time.

The
American Society of Hypertension is one of the biggest organisation's in America devoted to researching and fighting the causes of hypertension. Their website houses lots of useful information for those looking to research hypertension further.

They have a number of publications deali
ng specifically with the problem, as well as a series of scientific meetings held by specialists.

They also have a hypertension outreach programme, designed to help those suffering with the problem right now.


The
American Heart Association is another fine organisation designed to help those with hypertension, high blood pressure and bad heart problems.

Visitors to the site can either donate money straight to the charity or can volunteer to work with the firm.

This site acts as an open discussion between people suffering from heart diseases and blood disorders.

There are many parents out there who are going through the turmoil and struggle of watching their children cope with heart disease.

Pediheart is a great site with a dedicated area for children to play in - the Kidzone.

Here, children can learn about some of the problems associated with the heart in a friendly way, with language that is simplified for them to fully understand.

They can also interact with other children who may be going through similar problems themselves.
